August 4 We honor George Lewer by attending the Maywood Night Out, 5 pm. We used to meet at George’s and go as a group. Free food once there.
August 23 Outdoor meeting, noon, Veterans Memorial Park, Bergenfield
Future meetings: August 23, September 27: outdoors; October at Doyle’s; November at the VFW, 2 pm (elections); December: no meeting

River Edge Car Show, Sunday, July 12, 9 am to 2:30 pm, River Dell High School (enter from Fifth and Midland). $25 to 9 am, $20 after 9 am. Spectators free. Over 250 cars expected.
North Haledon / Franklin Lakes: July 26, 9-3
Wallington Plumbing show. Free show, usually with pizza, July 30, evening.
Steering teleconferences are on the second Tuesday of each month at 7 pm. Meetings are usually the fourth Sunday of the month.

Outdoor meeting note: they have blocked off the Brey Lane route. Enter from New Bridge Road to Wildrose, making a left onto Melrose, or from Prospect take Whitman and make a right turn onto Melrose.
